“At the moment, when anyone mentions nuclear program, all eyes turn to Iran and its dispute with the United States and the European Union. The problem is that there are strong suspicions that the objective of the Iranian nuclear program is to eventually build a bomb.
The Brazilian nuclear program does not have that problem. According to Carlos Freire Moreira, a director at Indústrias Nucleares do Brasil, which will be operating Brazil’s first uranium enrichment factory in Resende, Rio de Janeiro, the program is exclusively industrial and commercial, and will supply the country’s nuclear power plants with fuel.”

C’mon Bernhard you don’t think amerika’s modern day Leopold II is going to let the facts get in the way of a good massacre or 57 do you?
I realise that many thought it was ‘over the top’ to equate ‘King Dick’ Cheney with the meglamoniacal sociopath who once slaughtered millions of Congolese on the pretext that there was gold in it for Belgium.
Think about Cheney and Iran though, he is still pushing forward with his plan to irradiate millions of Persians, ostensibly to stitch up amerika’s energy supplies long after blind freddy can see the most likely outcome of such nuking will make amerika become the 6 foot Pole you wouldn’t want to touch anyone with. ie no oil for you, asshole.
Dubya is a ninny and does what he is told as long as mommie Babs says there’s a dollar in it. Rumbum and all the rest imagine they are going to collar enough of the world’s resources to establish some sort of modern-day robber-baron clan, but King Dick has no such pretensions. Materially all he really needs is sufficient funds to allow him to kill small furry or feathery creatures on his days off, while insulating him from the consequences of venting his fury on the nearest alzheimer’s encusted advocate if the mood should take and allow him to rip the still beating heart out of some nonentity when his own “ticker gets a bit dodgy”.
Since he already has more than sufficient material wealth to do all of the above, one is left with horrifying reality that King Dick is a twisted fuck who takes delight in other’s pain, misery and murder.
Pretty much the same type of cruel self obsession as Leopold.
I wonder if by chance they may be related?
