Berlusconi has had enough time to place his people all over the system, in every nook and cranny. And he is still a billionaire who dominates the media without any serious competitor. And he may be able to unite the opposition against Prodi’s side now that they have have been driven away from their means of self-enrichment.
Perhaps the resistance to the ‘unlawful’ shift of power has not yet really begun?
