Keller’s email on Judy: emptywheel has some fun theories To figure out what’s going on at the NYT, you read nothing but the corrections they’ve made on key Judy stories. I suspect this game works best if the articles are by-lined by Doug Jehl or David Johnston. Because if you put together the multiple corrections appended to their stories, you begin to see the outlines of a totally different story than the NYT has been telling. Let’s look at this:
Yes, a very wide shoot, but lets dream a bit… The New York Times still hasn’t said that Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction, something that has been widely known by anyone with internet access who cared to find out even before the war began. 2 1/2 years later, and all they can do is defend their fake mole reporter, who helped create the lie in the first place. Posted by: beq | Oct 12 2005 13:06 utc | 7 Speaking of transparency, all you AOL’ers out there might find it troubling that your friendly neighborhood policeman may be be watching what you say and what you do: Posted by: Uncle $cam | Oct 12 2005 16:54 utc | 8 @Uncle $cam MoA users would be advised to stay well away from AOL under any circumstances. In fact, I think it’s been entirely discredited. If you check, I’m fairly certain someone on kos w/in last several mos. to yr. did a rundown on them. I think it’s run by an old nazi apologist/holocaust denier of some sort. I don’t have time to do the google & extract the info. for you but if you google tbrnews.org site:dailykos.com, there’s plenty of info for you. Posted by: jj | Oct 12 2005 21:32 utc | 11 Why the hell would anyone support an Oligarch like AOL anyway? Stick w/local ISP’s.
