WB: A Fitzmas Carol

Bush hung his head to hear his own words quoted by the Spirit, and was overcome with penitence and grief.

He sat very close to his boss’s side upon his little stool. Dick held his withered little hand in his, as if he loved the child, and wished to keep him by his side, and dreaded that he might be taken from him.
“Spirit,” said Bush, with an interest he had never felt before, “tell me if Tiny Scooter will escape justice.”

*sniff*
I think I love you, sir.

A just punishment would be handing out a M-16 and some non-existent body armor and sending them to front line of their fucked up holy war/natural resource extraction campaign. A M-16, boxers or briefs, and a Holy Book, should be all the protection they need.

It is the spirit and not the form of law that keeps justice alive.

Any reason to believe the rumor on Atrios’ site about indictments for Wilson and Plame? I can’t think of any.

@Rowan – Duncan linked to a wingnut site that had the big joke of indictments for Wilson. Even those wingnuts didn´t believe it.

Yeah, that’s what it looked like to me, but you’d figure Atrios might be able to take that with a grain of salt. But then, he seems to be big into the whole Fitzmas thing.
Moving right along – in Billmon’s most recent piece he mentions that the Bunker Buster project seems to have been halted but his link doesn’t work. Anyone got a good one?

before I go…I won’t be back till after the witching hour, so pardon the early post…it’s nightime somewhere…
Oh Hopeful Night
(no maudy Thursday, please)
you must sing this as Eric Cartman, btw.
Oh Hopeful Night
The brows are brightly sweating
It is the night
Before THE press conf’rence
Long lay the world
In Bush League schemes a’pine-ing
Till Fitz appeared
And invoked a Grand Jury.
A thrill of hope
The weary world rejoiceth
For yonder breaks
Live News from CNN
Falllllll on your knees
A preessssss conf’rence is coming
To-mor-row, it seems
Oh to-mor-row it seems.
Oh night de-viiiiining
Oh-oh night reading tea leaves.
Oh night deViiiiNing
Oh-oh night reading tea leaves.
Fall on your sword
Tiny Scooter karma’s calling
Tom-mor-row it seems
Oh tomorrow read the tea leaves.
OH NIGHT DE-VIIIIIIIIIN-ing
oh-oh night. oh night devining.
