While we are in the Global War on Terror, I’d like to say let’s change Rumsfield nickname. Rummy makes him sound like a Caribbean wino, low class, not at the level of our 24 K privatized war fighting machine. I’d like to switch to Rumpy, it sounds more like Grandpa and Grumpy, the combination of these two is a more pleasing picture and about as positive a picture as I can get of the old bureaucrat.

CheckMate- the robertson remark was broadcast on the 22nd. this govt will let him get away w/ that remark, just like they let ex-prez-in-exile perez openly declare in the miami press that chavez “must die like a dog, because he deserves it.” robertson has the extra protection in that he is both “white” and an agent of divine authority, expressing what is openly acknowledged as a fundamental principle of u.s. foreign policy – the united states of terrorists is commited to ensuring that the resources of latin america remain available for the terrorist economy whenever & however it pleases. the provisions of the USA PATRIOT act, as w/ any fabrication of law, domestic or international, do not apply to those who own this country or work to secure resources on its behalf. besides, this is god’s will. ask snake-handler ashcroft, currently residing at robertson’s regent university, licking his chops as the secular iraq officially goes fundamentalist & dreaming of king jesus giving the eagle a longer leash.
