Thank you Billmon for bringing this back to our attention. This entire episode and the entire Bush presidency certainly has a planet of the apes feel to it in that there is an established political body that cannot allow a barrier of knowledge to be passed. Do the keepers of the faith in their version of the future believe that their version is so fragile that it could not withstand a little sun beneath the shades hiding their past? Is this not what this is all about — denying any alternative vision of the future from taking its just and potentially more viable course? How free are we?
