The
Biblical Action Figures
Collection

What did people of the Bible look like?

Scholars have debated this question for centuries, and opinions vary widely.

Our purpose in creating Biblical Action Figures
is to help children identify with the Bible characters represented,

Onward Christian Soldiers!
An interesting development in the gestalt, really. Wrath is taking his/her proper place at the right hand of Avarice in the new Trinity (Pride got there early and brought doughnuts for everyone). This isn’t to say the remaining five Seven Deadly Sins aren’t staying busy in the new setup. Even clever old Sloth has found a way to make him/herself useful by infecting the mainstream media while everyone else scurries about.
What a grand metamorphosis these seven attitudes have undergone. In the old days, they were reviled as evil and now they have bounced back to become not only “virtues”, but the objects of worship themselves. It gives one hope that with the proper marketing, even the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse could be greeted as liberators by cheering throngs throwing rose petals.
It’s never been such a good time to be bad.

Well, that certainly lends a whole new meaning to the expression “holy crap.”

Which side is the “War on Terror” Jesus on?

Pastor Meeks may think he is blessed. But I doubt he will inherit more than the wind.

@ii
Given Bernards excellent follow through with this thread … one doubts if He’s about to turn the other cheek … (Repost)
Jesus wept … this is so … wrong … utterly perverse … on so many levels … a horrifying corruption of values …
What next ? Jesus dressed in BDU’s upon the cross ? Jesus wearing a bandana with M60 ala Rambo ?
Instantly brought to mind the Americanized, and in some qaurters proudly touted, ‘Kill em all, let God sort ’em out”. Derived from the original:

Tuez-les tous; Dieu reconnaitra les siens.”
(“Kill them all; for the Lord knoweth them that are His.”)
— Arnaud-Amaury, Abbot of Citeaux, 1209, when asked by the Crusaders what to do with the citizens of Beziers who were a mixture of Catholics and Cathars.
‘In order to wipe out Catharism, a religion thriving in the south of France, the predominant Christian power of the time ordered a crusade. The crusade, named the Albigensian Crusade, lasted thirty-years. The death toll from this butchery is estimated at one-million lives, many of whom were Catholics, indistinguishable from Cathars by the marauders. Even children were slaughtered. One commander told his men: “Kill them all, for God knows his own!” ‘
