the thing with the judges and deuteronomy … billmon has it right with “damned bible” and that people should read it with lots more of attention. perhaps they’d realize that the bible, especially the old testament, is full of inspiration for those who would slaughter their enemies in mass rather than show mercy, for the vengeful but not to the forgiving.
the radical christians are doing their thing by the book. but there are people who say that the judge is not so much christian but a member of a very different parish altogether. look at http://tinyurl.com/6e4d2 …

Look for this admin to torture parents of prospective recruits until they agree to nudge their calves up the chute to the waiting stun gun.
Alternatively, a reprieve from bankruptcy court for parents whose offspring joined the ragged queue at the enlistment door may turn out to be the only necessary motivation.
