As the Democratic party lies flat on it’s face, here’s an idea.

Even the repubs are writing articles about how bad Dean is for the dem party because they know a more populist appeal wiil work. Repubs are trying to influence the debate.
snort “Oh Bre’r Fox, don’t throw me in that Briar Patch!” I’m sure they know what’s best for their opponents and are advising them in good faith, of course louder snort.

De, thats very cynical, but I do love it.

i’m really late, but wanted to add 2 sentences to the above – Fuck the Beltway Dems – it’s irrelevant. Googling, I happened over the fact that Soros was backing Dean. Further check out the Business Week art. on him ~July ’03 – they thght. he was perfectly acceptable. The rest is internecine haggling for personal advantage between various factionsw/minor strategic differences w/in xDem. party. None of them represent the well-being of America or 99% of us.
Meantime the Pirates have declared war on us, all of us, Americans & Europeans. They’re turning our countries into Third World Countries w/the speed of a Force 10 Storm -in an obvious nod to DeA! Things seem to be heating up on the Continent as well now. Finally, Thom Hartman, in his emailed bit yesterday, spoke of the return to feudalism, citing bk. we might read, on how it’s a consequence of the radical right attack on the state & the protections it affords us. Either we start to attack head on the Pirates, or we’re masturbating on the Titanic. Kos/Atrios support the Pirates economic agenda, overwhelmingly – & virtually never discuss it, as well.
I’ll stop by this eve. to link art. in LA Times from last few days that notes that beyond Soc Security, they’re now trying to do away w/employer provided medical care……

@ DeAnander; I would like to see what Dean could do. He got my vote in the primaries. There needs to be a REAL shake-up.
