Billmon: Room at the Top
Comments
Is this a fact, Jérôme? If so, it means either that Card has lost standing–and I find this hard to imagine–or that he’s preparing to resign his post. If indeed he resigns his post, then Bush will be without an effective traffic manager. And Bush needs an effective traffic manager at least as much as he needs an attack dog. As far as I’m concerned we should all be screaming bloody murder. Posted by: beq | Feb 11 2005 19:43 utc | 6 Is it possible that Card is taking the rap for the Plame outing? I have to assume that SOMETHING is going on in the misty depths of that case. Posted by: rapt | Feb 11 2005 20:28 utc | 7 beq, i was actually in the room the night of the scream. i couldn’t hear it. i have never seen a crowd go so wild. totally wild. dean just let go and tried to match us. they must have isolated the sound from the mic or something to get the recording, because i couldn’t hear him over the audience. dean has a certain magic, if you ever get a chance to hear him speak, go. he’s intoxicating.
