He’s got another one up, on the AARP ad.
And every time I look at that ad, I think the guy in uniform looks a lot like Mel Gibson. Am I nuts, or does it look like him?

The soldier does look like Gibson. I am watching the daily show and man is it good. They have a skit on Allen Keyes daughter coming out. And Fox double standard by being conservative on Faux News and being smutty on the regular network channel.
Billmon must be taking cut and paste classes. I have to say, its working well. The one with Coulter and Bushie is a hoot.

The reason I mentioned the Gibson resemblance is, you know he made that movie a few years back, We Were Soldiers. Is it possible that they actually used a still of him from the movie? I don’t know if the fatigues the guy in the pic has on match any of Gibson’s costumes from the film.
If it really is Gibson, I doubt he gave permission for his image to be used. Because while some of his sympathies line up with the GOoPers, not all of them do, and he’s not usually overtly political.
Of course, it could just be a weird coincidence. But it’s the sort of stunt that Bushco seem to like pulling, and it would be great to embarrass them if it is Gibson and he objects–just like the Freepers went nuts when he expressed his sympathy for Michael Moore.
So, is there anyone who saw the film who could clarify?
