Billmon:
“…Are we really so close to the dark ages that a politician running for president can’t even mention his ex-wife?”
Hmmmm…. and just how often did Lee Atwater let Ronniekins mention Jane Wyman?
____
And now that I think of it….based purely on appearances and age, is it possible that former Rolling Stone bassist Bill Wyman was actually the pre-marital lovechild of Ronnie and Janie?

i saw something about the first Mrs. Kerry in the last year or two / she has expressly stated she does not want to have any involvement nor mention / she lives reclusively in the west / Montana, i think / let’s leave her alone (i say after divulging this bit / smile) in fact the wives should not be targets for invective at all

me again / how funny / i just saw President Bush campaigning in the midwest / the first thing he said was you should vote me in for four more years so that Laura will continue to be first lady / a slap against Teresa ? you bet / but come to think of it Bush has always talked about Laura being the best thing ever happened to him / Laura is the anti-Hillary, isnt she ?
